L I T T L E Things

As you might know, the head of a company survived 9/11 because his son started kindergarten.

Another fellow was alive because it was His turn to bring donuts.

One woman was late because her Alarm clock didn't go off in time.

One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike Because of an auto accident.

One of them Missed his bus.

One spilled food on her clothes and had to take Time to change.

One's Car wouldn't start.

One went back to Answer the telephone.

One had a Child that dawdled And didn't get ready as soon as he should have.

One couldn't Get a taxi.

The one that struck me was the man Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning, Took the various means to get to work But before he got there, he developed a blister on his foot.

He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid. That is why he is alive today.

Now when I am Stuck in traffic, Turn back to answer a ringing telephone... All the little things that annoy me. I think to myself, This is exactly where God wants me to be At this very moment..

Next time your morning seems to be Going wrong, The children are slow getting dressed, You can't seem to find the door keys, You hit every traffic light, Don't get mad or frustrated
it maybe just that
God is at work watching over you.

May God continue to bless you With all those annoying little things
And may you remember their possible purpose.

buhay pag-ibig

Matagal tagal din ako hinde naka pag post ng entry dito...

Ngayon, i'am feeling sad...

Buhay pag-ibig? siguro..masarap pero masakit magmahal. Marami ako kakilala na ganyan ang problema. PAG-IBIG.

Pero whatever there reason choice nila yun eh. Mahirap mag pilit kung ayaw. all you have to do is to let go and move on. not just move on but move forward. It's definitely time to move on when you do not feel accepted or appreciated.

I'm not gonna hold too long to what's never meant..sometines i need to set things free..before it totally kills me..

I had realized that love is not enough to make a relationship work. We need trust, respect, time, effort and total commitment. If a person doesn't show respect, doesn't earn your trust and cannot keep a promise. then no matter how many times they say "iloveyou" those words will be empty. take time to listen to what they don't say. take time to look at what they dont show because there are secret hidden beneath their words. So do not let passion but wisdom decide for you. Love wisely because its never easy to love and get hurt...

Kaunting salo-salo: Palabok, Manok, Puto, Cake at Coke.

Simple lamang yan pero malaki ang halaga sa akin ang pag aalala sa kaarawan ko kahit walang handa basta hinde lang nila makalimutan.

DaBarkads

Taking a road of life without a friend is incomplete…

And a real friendship isn’t affected by social status, distance or even time, with a real friend, you can pick up a relationship where you left it. No matter how far away you’ve been, or how long it’s been since you were together. Real friendship isn’t tarnished by money or lock of it, nor it is enchanced by prestige and success. A real friend will always believe in you, always expect the best of you, and always stand his ground in defending you.

Meet my friends:

Richard Jordan Cuña- I called him rickz or chad. Beside for being my friend, he is also my cousin (1st cousin) He is in 3rd year college taking up ECE. A playboy one! He always have a “flavor of the month” girlfriend. Hahaha! He loves his iphone, dota games and diablo games and most of all he loves to drink and get drunk hahaha! He is very hyper! and wants thing to be done quickly (apurado) hehehe. “shat na” hehehe.

Jacky Ang- “the boss” at his early age he manage to take there family business well. The bossing of the group, who always pay the bills in the bar hehehe. He also love to drink all night long, he love his expedition, he love his rav4. “The more the merrier” is his motto with it comes to girls hahaha! Number 1 playboy. He manage all his girlfriends well without knowing how many of them hahaha! Time management is at his hand. But he is idealistic and need to believe in love. Jacky says “mahal ko na siya” hahaha!

Rosalinda Campued- also known as olinz. But I called her sweetie. I met her through Richard. She’s nice and fun to be with and I enjoyed her company. She loves romy..love to change her number. The “globe capturer” she change her cellphone number all the time. Everytime you’ll received an sms and not at your contact you’ll say it again…”si olinz naman! new number again? Hays, balak mo ba ubusin number nang globe?” hehehe.

These are my friends…we love to hang out together. Sometimes at the bar or jacky’s place and have some sugpo! And a lot of seafoods. Knowing that jacky own a hatchery here. But most of the time at Gloria jeans coffee, chit-chat together, chillin and smoking hehehe. :D

Thanks guys for sharing a bit of your time for the friendship you’ve shown to me. I may haven’t done enough to make you feel that I value you but there’s really few words I will say “thank you guys” whatever it is…:)

Love Fades

I guess that love does fade...that sometimes the heart does get tired of longing, of hoping..that sometimes you just have to accept the fact that sometimes can never be and that you should be contented with things as they are...

Leaving is a choice...staying is a choice..but you can never really ask someone to be yours or to stay...

It's a choice they have to make for themselves and sometimes no matter how much you beg someone to stay or how hard you try to make someone to be yours, you really have no control over which they will choose... :(

Preventing kids from smoking

Guys i want share this article that I've read and it is worth reading it...

DESPITE serious government warnings against smoking, teenagers as young as 15 want to puff a cigarette either out of curiosity, influenced by peers and from household members.

Parents still have the biggest impact on their children’s decision whether to smoke especially in urban areas. It is common for parents in slum areas to instruct their children to buy cigarettes and requesting them to light it too.

The best way to prevent a youngster from taking up smoking is to have parents who don’t smoke. Better act now before it’s too late.

Be a role model

If you don’t smoke, that sets a strong example for your children. Research shows that children of parents who smoke are more likely to smoke themselves.

Make your house a smoke-free zone

If you are a smoker or have friends or relatives who smoke, avoid exposing your children to smoke. Young children who are exposed to secondhand smoke are at a higher risk of developing asthma, ear infections and cavities. Infants are at a higher risk of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).

Keep trying to quit

If you are a smoker who’s tried to quit, you’re not alone. Seventy percent (70%) of smokers report wanting to quit, but only about five percent of those who try are successful in the long term. Try to quit for your health and for the health of your children.

Don’t smoke around your children

If you make your house a smoke-free zone, making your car a smoke-free zone will protect your passengers, including your children, from the harms of secondhand smoke.

Tell them about the health risks in smoking

This is for both adults and kids. Smoking will impact their ability to play sports successfully and may have potentially long-term negative effects on their good health and their appearance. In addition to the way it smells, smoking causes premature facial aging and stained teeth.

Know your children’s friends

Peer pressure is a powerful factor in children choosing to smoke, drink alcohol and take drugs. Find out if they have friends who smoke. Encourage them to be role models for their siblings and friends by making informed choices not to smoke and set an example with their peers that could set a trend.

Teach children that it is okay to go against the group when their health and safety is at risk. In fact, if they have taken a stand, based on an informed position, it is likely that their friends will respect them for it and follow suit.

Listen to your children

When parents create an atmosphere in their home that encourages discussion and debate about controversial topics that all teens confront and must learn to deal with, empowering your child with the facts will help them stay smoke-free. Start the dialogue about tobacco at an early age (5 and 6) and continue to provide them with age-appropriate information on smoking as they grow older.

If they start to smoke, encourage them to quit

By quitting, people can add years to their lives. Quitting is a life-saving decision that can impact the lives of everyone you love. It isn’t easy, but every quit attempt should be considered a success.

One of my friend's eldest child start smoking at early age as 13. And now she doesn't know how to stop him because even herself don't know how to quit it. As a parents we must be a good example to our children. It's is important to teach our children about the danger of smoking. The bottom line is that our children need our help to avoid smoking or to quit if they have started. Parents really can make a difference!
